Es por ello por lo que con el desarrollo de este proyecto se pretende concientizar a la población sobre su consumo de agua mediante una aplicación móvil con acceso a base de datos en Windows Azure que guarda información sobre el consumo de agua y costos del servicio. Para esto se implementará la metodología denominada 6 M que se encuentra enmarcada en cinco fases: análisis, diseño, desarrollo, pruebas de funcionamiento y entrega. Para el desarrollo de esta aplicación se utilizó Visual Studio para la creación de un Web Service el cual almacena los métodos necesarios, como lo son agregar, actualizar, consultar y eliminar la información de nuestra base de datos. Para crear la aplicación móvil se ocupó la herramienta de programación Android Studio en la cual se realizó el diseño de las interfaces y la aplicación funcional.
