Para la investigación se toman en cuenta diferentes factores de suma importancia para la organización de la empresa como el control de producción, asistencia de trabajadores y pago de nómina. Dichos factores tienen la problemática de no realizarse de manera continua ni constante, mayormente por falta de tiempo. Para ello el sistema de información web va a guardar y organizar toda la información recabada para que los datos sean exactos, además de reducir el trabajo administrativo de las personas encargadas. Cabe mencionar la importancia de que dentro de una empresa textil prevalezca una organización correctamente definida, de lo contrario existe el riesgo de pérdidas para todos los involucrados. De igual forma se debe considerar la cantidad de personas que trabajan en una industria dedicada a la creación de ropa, por lo cual en algunas ocasiones resulta complicado para una sola persona llevar un control general de todas las operaciones y departamentos, por ello la importancia de la aplicación de un sistema de información. Por último, recordar que el uso de un sistema dentro de este tipo de industrias evita el constante uso de documentos impresos en papel, tomando en cuenta el cuidado del medio ambiente. Desafortunadamente muchas empresas no prestan atención a este tema, en ocasiones porque el personal no está dispuesto a cambiar los hábitos de trabajo que tienen o porque se considera un gasto innecesario el hecho de invertir en esto. El presente proyecto se desarrolló de acuerdo a las necesidades observadas en el área de corte, de Comercializadora KETER S.A. de C.V., donde se detectó que se requiere aumentar la productividad de la misma, para que esto se vea reflejado en las utilidades de la empresa. Mediante la aplicación de la metodología Deming, con el uso de cada una de sus etapas se creó un plan de mejora que contiene una serie de estrategias, que se espera aporten beneficios para el aumento de la productividad para esta área. Para la realización del plan, fue necesario conocer a profundidad los procesos y el área, además de las herramientas de trabajo necesarias para el desarrollo de las operaciones productivas. Para esto se realizó un diagnóstico de la situación actual, que ayudo a visualizar las áreas de oportunidad donde sería aplicado el plan de mejora. La propuesta del plan de mejora en esta área, está orientada a elevar su productividad puesto que es el primer eslabón en la cadena de producción de Comercializadora KETER, y que es sumamente importante porque sin esta área la confección de las piezas no puede ser llevada a cabo. Si se lleva a cabo la implementación de este plan se espera que los procesos puedan ser mejorados y que el nivel productivo del área aumente. Todo esto beneficiará tanto a esta área productiva como a la empresa, pues permitirá que se trabaje bajo un entorno más organizado y que aprovechara los recursos disponibles en su totalidad.
